Sustainable Practices for Water-Wise Gardening

CompostGal Lori Caldwell will teach this class on permaculture and sustainable techniques for your home garden. Topics will include sheet-mulching, the benefits of compost and mulch, bio-intensive edible gardening, hydrozoning, using recycled water, drip irrigation, and native plants. 

This event is presented in partnership with Alameda County Water District. Information about ACWD programs and rebates will be provided.

Weather permitting, this event will be held outside on the library patio. Masks are required inside the library regardless of vaccination status.
