The Water Conservation Strategic Plan (WCSP) serves as a roadmap to help EBMUD meet its long-term water supply reliability goals, prepare for droughts, help customers manage their water bills, and comply with regulatory requirements. It sets out water conservation goals and details the programs, strategies, and methodologies required to meet those goals.
Here to walk us through this ambitious plan is EBMUD Water Conservation Manager Alice Towey. Over the past fourteen years, Alice has worked in various EBMUD divisions including water recycling, water resources planning, and water conservation. Alice holds a BA in Physics from Bryn Mawr College and a Masters in Environmental Engineering from University of California, Berkeley. This virtual meeting will also include water supply, drought, and water conservation division program updates.
