If critters are destroying your garden and gobbling up the fruits of your labor, then this is the class for you. You will learn many useful non-poisonous abatement techniques to protect your garden. Topics will include trapping, creating barriers, and deterrents.

Vertebrates to be covered are pigeons, crows, squirrels, rats, and raccoons.

Presenter Master Gardener Nancy Grove: Nancy Grove gardens on the mid-Peninsula, with a focus on water-wise perennial plantings, small fruit orchard, and raised beds. She raises essentially all of the produce needed for her family, canning and preserving to extend the harvest year-round. A founding member of the San Mateo/San Francisco Master Gardener Program, Nancy enjoys giving talks about various aspects of gardening, learning a great deal from her audiences in return.
