Join us in this screening of the film “Symphony of the Soil” and a short, follow-up discussion on carbon farming in home gardens. The film is created by Deborah Koons Garcia and Lily Films Studio. Symphony of the Soil Beautifully illustrates the complex life that exists in healthy soil ecosystems, the role that carbon plays in soil health, and how institutions, farmers and gardeners impact this soil ecosystem. Following the film, we will discuss findings from local urban farms in Alameda County on the impacts of carbon farming practices on soil health and climate change.

This is a free, public webinar hosted by StopWaste and Eden Garden. There is a 100-person limit to the webinar, and this will be a first-come, first-served event (at the time of logging into the webinar). The discussion (not the film) will be recorded, posted, and shared with all participants in case you miss the event.
