Seed Saving for Everyone

In this workshop you will learn the age- old tradition of seed-saving and join the movement to protect biodiversity and preserve heirloom varieties of seeds. From the botany and different types of seeds, to using nature’s abilities to save your own seeds, you will learn the steps necessary to plan your garden for seed saving. At the end of this class you will have a clear idea of plant reproduction how to choose, clean and store worthwhile seeds to ensure the highest rate of germination and propagation from your seeds.
