How do you create a beautiful and low-water use median strip?
Median strips along sidewalks in the EBMUD service area often exceed their water budget up to 200 percent. On Monday, September 16, 2019 Patricia St. John, Horticultural Instructor at Merritt College and Owner of St. John Landscapes and Laura Henry Kukulski, Landscape Designer, will present eye-catching designs and plant palettes of low-water use median strips. Come take a virtual tour with us around the EBMUD service area to view these beautiful, water-wise, narrow garden designs.
The meeting will be held at the EBMUD Administration Building at 375 11th Street in Oakland on the second floor. The Administration Building is conveniently located near the 12th Street Oakland City Center BART station. Please arrive promptly. Light refreshments will be served.
