How-to Backyard Compost Workshop

Compost is gardening gold, and you can learn how to make it in your own backyard. StopWaste Educators Lori Caldwell and Trevor Probert will share all the basics, including pile building, troubleshooting, harvesting and best uses of finished compost at this free, hands-on workshop. It’s also a great opportunity to visit City Slicker Farms and see how they’ve incorporated compost into their food production. This is an interactive workshop, so bring garden gloves if you have them.
